We were incredibly touched when we found out @lauralovespugs, @ute_ig and @magdalenesmuse organised an instagram party in honour of @lauralovespugs' (known as Elle in real life) birthday and celebrating our Anna Dress Sewing Pattern. Playing out on 17th & 18th July, you had us beaming at our smartphones as we spent a lot of our weekend updating and scrolling through the100s of brilliant examples of your creativity you all treated us to. Online sewing pals - you're the best! Big thanks to the organisers for getting this show on the road.
Here's our entry: BHL babies modelling our Anna Dress from the sewalong way back in 2013, when we were working out of cafes and each others kitchens and just used to do drive-bys of wherever in London we were, jumping out the car to take quick pix in front of nice looking walls and doors. We like to think we brightened up at least a few passersby's days when using the car as a changing room!
And now, below is a little round up of the winner, finalists, the initial shortlist and just a small selection of all your brilliant makes.
The shortlist
(be sure to keep an eye on @lauralovespugs' instagram for a public vote on the overall winner)
And now for some of the rest: the long.....
The short....

And, finally, the mini!

Wow, there are so many wow Annas here. I only got to wear mine once this summer but the comments and compliments I got for it came to a pretty decent total. One of my best makes ever.

oh! I’m sorry I missed this during the event, but how fun to see everyone’s Annas. My 2015 year-long project is making an Anna a month, experimenting with new fabrics and techniques each time, and I’m delighted with how my wardrobe has blossomed with just one dress.
