'Tis the season folks! It's that time of year we look forward to the most, when we get to go all out planning and sewing our dream party dresses. And it seems that we're not alone in this, judging by the sheer fabulosity of your handmade festive frocks that keep popping up in our feeds! We thought we'd share some of our favourites as we start contemplating our own...
Kicking the round up off with this extravaganza - Amelia's hot pink Alix dress is just about the ultimate festive season dress. All the floor sweeping 70s drama you can dream of, with the added comfort of an adjustable waist tie - perfect for both dancing AND feasting!
***
Double whammy! Hila @saturdaynightstitch and Laura @cottonreelstudio both looking divine in their floral BHL creations: Hila in an Anna on the left and Laura wearing her Kim.
***
An all time favouriteof ours, Vicki's embroidered tulle Elisalex dress is an absolute show stopper!
***
Thaise of @craftswithflours is a vision of ethereal princess proportions in her dreamy Flora dress. If in doubt, always make it a maxi!
***
It may have been her birthday, but we think Rhiannon's spectacular sparkly Kim dress would make the perrrrrfect NYE dress!
***
Living up to her native chic French reputation, Stef of @bijouharmonie is utterly dazzling in a midnight blue silk satin Anna dress.
***
Winter florals for the win! Julie Moreno's Anna dress is nothing short of regal! Christmas lunch at the Ritz anyone?
***
Jennifer H aka @the_slapdash shows us how it's done in her emerald green maxi Anna complete with thigh high split. Top tip for festive sewing - jewel tones are always a winner!
***
It doesn't have to be a maxi to turn heads, a simple cocktail dress in a luxe fabric is just as sensational - demonstrated here to perfection by Julie of @joliesbobines in her Orsola dress.
***
And don't discount party separates! We are literally salivating over this jacquard Charlotte skirt made by the elusive sister of Maddi @existitchalcrisis...
***
And that's just a small handful! We could go on and on and on showing off your BHL makes, but we'll have to excuse ourselves for now as we go dream up our own party outfits for the coming festivities!
