When the lovely folks at Pinterest asked us to be a part of their Pin It Forward UK campaign, being massive Pinterest fans already, you can imagine how flattered we were! Not only did we get invited to their awesome Pinterest Party where we got to sip tropical cocktails, decorate shot glasses and mingle with all sorts of likeminded creatives, but we get to help spread the word about the wonder that is Pinterest to all of you who haven't yet had the pleasure!

In a nutshell, Pinterest is a tool for gathering, organising and sharing inspiration in the way of online pinboards. Members create a profile of various boards to which they can "pin" relevant images and videos from websites, blogs, other pinners and even upload their own photos. The genius is that images pinned from around the web, when clicked on, will lead right back to the original article or post the image was taken from.

We use Pinterest for organising inspiration for just about everything - our ideal home, recipes we'd like to try, silly funny stuff, but above all, our four favourite boards are: DRESSES, where we salivate over beautiful designs and get inspired for future patterns; BY HAND DIY, where we compile all of our own DIY projects; and CHARLOTTE SKIRT & ELISALEX DRESS, where we pin all of your amazing creations!
