The sun is finally (kinda) out in London town, so we've gone and updated our Charlotte Skirt Kits with a suitable fabric. We've put 3m/3.25yds of a lovely, drapey deep cerise cotton -viscose mix in there, so you can make yourself a smokin' summer party skirt. You also still get all the same goods as before in your kit:
- Charlotte Skirt pattern
- tote bag
- hook & eye
- needle and matching thread
- woven name label
- invisible zipper
This is a really ideal project for a beginner sewer because it's pretty simple, but you still learn lots of fundamental techniques, like;
- making a dart
- making a waistband
- blindstitching
- hemming
We've also now got the Charlotte Skirt Sewalong to help you out a little more and you can always just holla at us on Twitter or Facebook if you get stuck.
And, of course, last but not least, please share your creation with us when you're done!
