Hello all and Happy New Year!!! It probably feels a little too late in the game to still be saying that, but seeing as this is our first blog post of 2017 (gulp! Where has January gone?! Although, we're certainly not complaining that it's now one month closer to Springtiiiiime!), I reckon we can just about get away with it.
And in the spirit of the New Year - Gregorian or Lunar - and all the hope, promise and great new things they bring, we're here to announce some new classes we have coming up over the next couple of months. Ideal for anyone who has been hovering on the peripheries of the sewing community, feeling inspired but not knowing exactly how to begin, joining a class will give you the skills and confidence you need in order to embark upon your own wild and wonderful handmade journey...

I used to embroider my jeans all the time 40 years ago (and my jean skirts) wherever the threads started looking a little bare. I was thrilled to see these jeans – such a wash of nostalgia washed over me – thank you! I think I’m going to take this up again. There is nothing like a spot of embroidery on a worn pair of jeans that fit you well!
