OWOP is back!

Now, you'll either be reading the title of this post excitedly planning outfits, or you might be scratching your head thinking what, or who, in the hell is OWOP?! If you fall into the latter category, fear not, and let me enlighten you...

***

OWOP, or, One Week One Pattern, is the brainchild of Tilly Walnes, of GBSB and Tilly & the Buttons fame. Started back in 2012, Tilly challenged sewists to identify that one stand-out TNT sewing pattern they've sewn but hundreds of times, and wear variations of that one pattern for, you guessed it - one whole week. The aim of the game is in a similar ilk to Me-Made-May (made famous by Zoe Edwards of blog "So, Zo...") - we all get to share and perv over each others me-made masterpieces, whether it be on our blogs, Instagram or Twitter feeds, and various other social media, showing off the multitude of ways in which one single pattern can be styked and customised. We get to think about what it is that makes certain patterns so versatile, push the boundaries of everyday styling and hopefully convert some new sewists along the way!

The fun kicks off this coming Saturday 6th September, and flying the OWOP flag this year is the delightful Handmade Jane - so head on over to her blog for more details and to officially sign up if you haven't already. And what will be my one killer pattern of choice, I hear you cry - well, I'll be plugging our newest, shiniest pattern, the Holly Jumpsuit, natch. What about you??

Holly is perfect for OWOP! I’ll be using Anna as my pattern.
