Hellooooo New Yoik sewing crew! It's true, I'm coming to your home town and I absolutely cannot wait. I shall be on holiday with my man, but am planning on abandoning him almost immediately (sorry my love!), in order to hang with sewing pals #inreallife.
As a rough plan so far, how does a couple hours overspending at Mood Fabrics (the stuff of legend to us foreigns) followed by Jamaican goodness at Miss Lily's for lunch sound? Oh yes, and the date would be Saturday August 10th. I've already managed to rope in the wonderful Sonja to come along for the ride and am hoping some more of you would like to come as well. Email me at charlotte@byhandlondon.com if you'd like to come along and I'll send you a more concrete masterplan nearer the time. Cannot WAIT to meet you!
x
Charlotte

And you Clio! Rest of the trip eating lobster rolls, bbqing and skimming stones up the east coast was damn wonderful. We are all massive americanophiles (not sure that’s a word, but you get the picture…) so are definitely scheming on how soon we can open an office there!

From one Londoner to another, you should find time to visit to visit the City Quilter (133 West 25th Street) while you’re there. It’s a huge haven of quilting wonderfulness.
