You might just have heard us talking about our new pattern, the Anna Dress, (not that we've been going on about it or anything...) in the past week or so. Well, if you would like to have a go at making it, but prefer to attempt this in a group sewing vibe rather than doing it on your own (*sob*), then this is your lucky day! We will be holding a class at the Village Haberdashery (photo above shows off some of their fine wares) in London this Saturday 20th July and next Saturday 27th July and would love it if you joined us! We've done a little summary below of what it's all about and you can sign up here.
What
Learn to sew the Anna Dress in a class led by our very own resident sewing nerd, Elisalex.
What kind of level are we talking?
The class is definitely intended for beginners, but you should already know your way around a sewing machine and have stitched something already.
Where
Village Haberdashery
47 Mill Ln
London NW6 1NB
When
Saturday 20th July 11am - 5pm
Saturday 27th July 11am - 5pm
What sewing skills will I learn?
How to:
insert an invisible zipper
invisibly and flawlessly finish a hem
shape a bodice using darts and pleats
(and of course generally how to make a kickass dress!)
How much is it?
£150 per person excl. fabric and notions. However, this does include a 10% discount on your fabric and notions should you buy it from Annie at Village Haberdashery (do it! She's got some great loot).
Look forward to meeting you ladies who are joining us on Saturday.
