Measuring
Bust
Circumference around your ribcage at the fullest part of your bust. This is usually nipple height.
Waist
This can be a little confusing because a lot of people don’t actually know where their natural waist is. It is not always the smallest part of your torso if you don’t happen to have an hourglass shape. Your waist is located halfway between the end of your ribs and the top of your hip bones.
Hips
The hip measurement is not literally taken from around your hip bones, rather, the hip measurement indicates the fullest part around your bottom.

THE DRESS
Tamzin is the quintessential folk dress that will have you twirling through summer year after year! Featuring an ornamental square neckline, princess seams, two different waist tie options, full 3/4 length sleeves and a gathered skirt - both with a satisfying tuck detail. Even better, the neckline is finished with an external facing, so you can have all the fun in the world experimenting with embroidery or beading to create a beautifully embellished neckline.

Tamzin will work beautifully in a multitude of light - medium weight woven fabrics. We love linen, viscose rayon / tencel, soft or floaty cottons, double gauze and drapey silks.
For our samples, we used an aqua blue modal, bamboo viscose and lyocell twill from Sew Me Sunshine and a honey lyocell twill from Sister Mintaka. Huge thanks goes to our fabric sponsors for helping us create such beautiful samples!
