One of the things we love most about vintage sewing patterns are the illustrations on the front (check out our Pinterest for some of our favourites). These illustrations are incredibly aspirational and totally what elevates the vintage patterns into collector item territory. Sooo, we decided we wanted in and got some illustrations of our own done! These illustrations will feature on our packaging (along with technical drawings of course), detailing the three variations. They were done by our chum and all round creative great, Anna Walker. As well as being a fashion illustrator, she has a few years of styling under her belt, designs some very fly leather bags and currently works as a window merchandiser for London retail mecca Liberty. Needless to say, we were in good hands and she did a superb (and very flattering!) job:

oh wow – looking forward to seeing the finished products!
WOW. These are really fabulous to the maximum extreme. Isn’t it lovely being immortalized (I’ve had 2 separate friends paint watercolor portraits of me and it still makes me feel good and weird inside). These are really going to help elevate your patterns m’dears!
Gorgeous!
With all respect to the vintage pattern illustrations, we live in the XXI century! I think what Anna has done is super elegant, sexy, unique and modern! Looking forward to get my hands on your patterns
