Ladies we love #2: Orsola
Orsola de Castro is mama to By Hand co-founder Elisalex and general inspirational creative businesswoman. A passionate and lifelong pioneer of sustainable lifestyle and upcycling, she founded her very own womenswear label From Somewhere back in 1997. After a brief hiatus from designing (as a consultant in waste management for the fashion industry), she is now plotting all sorts of exciting new moves, so watch this space! We trawled around her house, looking at endless walls of family photos, floor to ceiling wardrobes and a free standing bath in her own bedroom! The outfits Orsola chose for the shoot were all a mix of vintage, mama’s hand me downs and From Somewhere pieces.
